Latest girls state soccer rankings: 2 Section III teams crack Class C poll

Syracuse, N.Y. — Tully and Westmoreland each earned entrance into this week’s New York State Sportswriter’s Association girls soccer poll, released Tuesday.
The Black Knights (14-4) landed at No. 20 in Class C, while Westmoreland (13-5) came in at No. 24 in the same division. Both teams have reached the Section III semis by scoring quarterfinal upsets, with No. 5 Tully getting past No. 4 Fabius-Pompey and No. 7 Westmoreland stunning No. 2 Sauquoit Valley.
